Abstract

This invention describes a double-locking steering wheel locking device consisting of a cylindrical steel bar with a U-shaped steel cap welded to one end, its base perpendicular to the bar's surface. A bush is fitted to the other end, allowing it to slide along the bar. Another U-shaped cap is welded to this end, its base perpendicular to the bush and pointing in the same direction as the attached cap. Both U-shaped caps have two aligned holes for padlocking. When the two U-shaped caps are placed on either side of the steering wheel and padlock is secured, the steering wheel cannot be turned normally for driving.

Claims (3)

1. A two-key locking device for a car steering wheel, consisting of a cylindrical steel bar (1), which may be round or square, solid or hollow, of a size as required and of a length approximately one and a half to two and a half times the diameter of the car steering wheel to be locked and/or of a size that is appropriately related to the size of such car steering wheel, has the following characteristics: at one end of the steel bar (1) there is a U-shaped locking cover (U) (2) with two holes (3) drilled into it to be used to lock the edge of the car steering wheel (6); at one end of the steel bar (1) there is a U-shaped locking cover (U) (2) welded into it. The base of the U-shaped locking bar (U) (2) is perpendicular to the surface of the steel bar (1). The U-shaped locking bar (U) (2) has holes (3) drilled at both ends to fit over the edges of the steering wheel (6) on both sides, and a key (5) is passed through the holes (3) and locked. At the other end of the steel bar (1), which extends beyond the edge of the steering wheel (6), a bush (4) of the same size and fit is fitted onto the steel bar (1), and this bush (4) can slide back and forth on the steel bar (1) to adjust the distance of another U-shaped locking bar (U) (2), which is welded to the bush (4) in such a way that the base of the U-shaped locking bar (U) (2) is perpendicular to the surface of the bush (4) and points in the same direction as the first U-shaped locking bar (U) (2) that has been welded to one end of the steel bar (1). At the end where the bush (4) is fitted on the steel rod (1), a locking bush (7) is welded in place to prevent the bush (4), which is welded in with a U-shaped locking steel cover (2), from sliding out of the steel rod (1). 2. A two-key steering wheel locking device, in accordance with claim 1, uses two keys (5) to lock, each through a hole (3) drilled into the end of a U-shaped locking plate (2) that fits over the edges of the steering wheel (6) on both sides. 3. A two-key locking device for a car steering wheel, according to claim 1, in which a U-shaped locking plate (2) is welded in such a way that the base of the U-shaped locking plate (2) is perpendicular to the surface of the bush (4), and can slide back and forth on a steel rod (1) to adjust the distance so that the U-shaped locking plate (2) fits snugly over the edge of the car steering wheel (6), and is then locked with a key (5).
