Abstract

The DC60 motorcycle manages to retain a large-volume air cleaner box while allowing easy mounting and dismounting, and maintaining the front cylinder head protection function. The front fork consists of an upper section with the control lever and a lower section that supports the front wheel in a rotating manner. The foregrip supports the front fork in a rotating fashion. The lower tube curves in an oval shape, extending downwards and backward before continuing horizontally. The rider's seat is approximately centered longitudinally. Footwells are positioned between the seat (approximately centered longitudinally) and the foregrip. The engine, including the cylinder and cylinder head, sits beneath the footwells and extends horizontally longitudinally, with the cylinder head resting on the front of the cylinder. The intake system is positioned towards the rear of the front wheel, between the engine cylinder and the lower end of the downward-facing pipe. It comprises an air cleaner box. The body cover encloses the intake system, at least below and transversely. A mudguard extends from the lower front of the air cleaner box, covering the front of the engine cylinder. The motorcycle is designed to maintain a large-capacity air cleaner box while allowing easy mounting and dismounting, and preserving the front-end protection function. The front fork consists of an upper section with the control lever and a lower section that supports the front wheel in a rotatable manner. The front tube supports the front fork in a rotatable position. The downward-facing tube curves in such a way that it extends downwards and backward in an oval shape, and then continues horizontally. The rider's seat is positioned approximately longitudinally in the center. The footwell is positioned between the rider's seat, approximately centered longitudinally along the motorcycle, and the front exhaust pipe. The engine assembly, comprising the cylinders and cylinder head, sits beneath the footwell and extends horizontally longitudinally along the motorcycle in such a way that the cylinder head rests on the front of the cylinder. The intake system is located towards the rear of the front wheel, between the engine cylinders and the lower end of the exhaust pipe, and includes an air cleaner box. The body cover encloses the intake system at least below and transversely. A mudguard extends downwards from the lower front of the air cleaner box and covers the engine cylinder head at its front.

Claims (5)

1. A motorcycle consisting of: the handlebars, the front wheel, the front forks with their upper end on which the handlebars are mounted and their lower end rotating to support the front wheel; the foregrip which rotates to support the front forks; the rider's seat positioned approximately in the center in the longitudinal direction of the motorcycle; the downward-curving exhaust pipe in such a way that it slopes backward and downward and then extends significantly horizontally; the exhaust pipe with its front end facing the footwell, which is positioned between the rider's seat and the foregrip; the engine assembly positioned at the footwell; the engine assembly including the engine block, cylinders, and cylinder head and extending significantly horizontally in the longitudinal direction of the motorcycle in such a way that the cylinder head is positioned in front of the cylinders and engine housing; the intake system positioned behind the front wheel and between the cylinders of the engine assembly and the front end of the exhaust pipe; the intake system containing the air filter; the exhaust pipe connected to the lower part of the cylinder head and extending rear of the motorcycle under the cylinders and cylinder head. The body cover that encloses at least the intake system at the bottom and transverse sides; the front mudguard mounted on the front forks and the front wheel cover on top of it; the front mudguard with its rear section overlapping the air filter vertically; and the rear section of the front mudguard with a raised rear edge below the upper sides of the air filter and above the lower end of the air filter; the engine guard that encloses at least the cylinder head of the engine assembly at the front and bottom; and the mud flap extending downwards from the lower front section of the air filter and the cylinder head cover of the engine assembly at the front of it; and the mud flap extending to the area near the upper edge of the front section of the engine guard. 2. The motorcycle under claim 1 has the said engine guard covering the said cylinder head, said cylinder, said engine block, said front part of the said exhaust pipe, and said mounting part of the said footrest on its underside. 3. The motorcycle under claim paragraph 2, where such engine guard has a front part, a rear part, and a mounting part with at least one opening provided on the rear part; such mounting part with an opening facing upwards near the footrest; such front part of the engine guard is attached to one of the cylinders and the cylinder head on its transverse side; such rear part of the engine guard is attached to the engine block through such mounting part with an opening. 4. A motorcycle as per claim 2 or 3 where such engine guard is attached to the engine assembly in a floating manner. 5. A motorcycle under any of the claims 2 through 4, where such engine assembly is an air-cooled instrument with cooling fins arranged on the respective outer surfaces of the cylinder head and cylinder block; such cylinder head and cylinder block and such engine guard are arranged in such a way that a gap is provided between them to form an air cooling channel; such cylinder block has a rear section arranged to form an exhaust channel near it for supplying the cooling air flowing through the air cooling channel.
