Abstract

Energy-saving fluorescent lighting systems are used to control lighting. They save energy by reducing voltage; normally, fluorescent lamps use 220 volts to light up, but this system uses 200 volts to reduce electricity consumption, supporting the government's energy conservation policy and promoting energy saving. These energy-saving fluorescent systems save 20% on electricity and can be permanently installed in buildings, government agencies, and residences. 1. The fluorescent lamp energy saving unit consists of a 220-volt power supply sent to the electrical wiring. This supply passes through the fluorescent lamp energy saving unit, which features a step-down transformer. The input voltage is 220 volts, and the output voltage is 200 volts. This voltage is then connected to an adjustable overload relay, which in turn connects to switch S1 (normally closed), and then to switch S2. Upon activation, contactor K1 activates, along with a timer relay. The timer relay counts for 15 seconds, and indicator L1 shows the 220-volt operation. After 15 seconds, the timer relay activates, closing the 220-volt contactor K1 and connecting the circuit to contactor K2. Indicator L2 then shows the 200-volt operation.
