The homegeneous foaming detergent composition, in gel form, must contain the following essential components: (a) an active detergent system in the amount of 60 to 80% by weight, with the following sub-components: (1) water-soluble salts of C3-C12 dialkyl esters of sulfosuccinic acid, with the same or different alkyl groups; (2) C10-C18 alkyl ether sulfate, with a ratio of (1) to (2) of 4:1 to 0.5:1; (3) non-ionic detergents in an amount insufficient to cause instability of the composition, or may be omitted entirely; (b) C2-C3 mono- or polyhydric alcohols; (c) water and other sub-components until the total composition is 100%. The ratio of alcohol (b) to water is below the critical value g, depending on the concentration of the total active detergent, and if the ratio is higher, phase separation will occur.
