Abstract

The self-release electrical plug mechanism consists of a rectangular frame that slides up and down within the housing. To release the plug from the socket, insert your finger under the protruding tab on the top of the housing and press the top of the rectangular frame with your thumb, pulling the two ends together. The plug will then release. This rectangular frame can also be used with other electrical devices.

Claims (3)

1. This invented electrical socket has a protruding tab at the top of the front housing for a finger-locking mechanism. Inside the housing is a metal rod that extends downwards. The middle section of the housing is smaller than the outer section to accommodate a rectangular frame that can be mounted and moved up and down. The length of this rectangular frame is equal to the length of the housing plus the length of the protruding metal rod. The rear section of the housing also protrudes at the bottom for a finger-locking mechanism, acting as an opening for the wires to enter. When closed, a mechanism prevents the rectangular frame from coming loose but allows it to slide up and down. This rectangular frame can be installed with other electrical devices such as transformers, dimmer switches, and timers. 2. Under Claim 1, a rectangular frame is mounted within the perimeter of the housing and is movable up and down. 3. Under Claim 1, the rectangular frame has grooves for a metal rod to be inserted and protrude from the bottom.
