Abstract

The OCR container closure consists of a circular outer lip with a through-hole opening that fits over the outer opening of the container. The inner surface of the outer lip has internal threads that screw into the outer threads of the outer lip. The outer lip has a flap on the top edge of the flap, extending from the bottom edge to engage the flap around the top edge of the cap. The flap on the top edge has flaps on the sides and a flap extending from the bottom edge to facilitate gripping between the top and the outer lip. The bottom surface of the flap has an insertion tube on the inside, with the bottom end of the flap secured to the bottom edge of the flap. The flap fits into the top opening of the container. Alternatively, the flap on the bottom edge extends from the open end to support the container's open end when the top flap is opened from the outer lip. The flap on the top edge of the flap has a spaced top connection to connect to the bottom edge of the flap. Alternatively, the flap on the bottom edge of the flap has spaced bottom connections to connect to the top edge of the flap.

The container closure comprises an outer sleeve (1) having a circular edge having an opening (2) through it for fitting onto the outer open end (3) of the container (4), while the inner surface of the outer sleeve (1) has internal threaded surfaces (5) for fastening onto the outer threaded surfaces (6), and the upper edge of the outer sleeve (1) has the underside of a flap (7) attached to it, while the upper side of the flap (7) is attached to the circumferential lip (8) of the top cover (9) for providing a hinge between the outer sleeve (1) and the top cover (9), and between the sides of the outer sleeve (1) and the sides of the flap (7), at least one of which has side openings (10) to facilitate the shaping. The fold-up and down of the flap (7) is facilitated, and the top cover (9) is of the form of a plate with the sides being the flap (8), or the surface of the top cover (9) or the surface of the flap (8) being the grooves of the surface (11) spaced apart or continuously. For providing strength between the upper cover (9) and the flange (8) and the bottom surface of the upper cover (9), there is an inner tube (14) which is hollow inside having a smaller diameter than the diameter of the upper cover (9) and has at its lower end a lower opening (15) fixed to it for insertion into the upper opening (16) of container (4) or between the inner surface of the flange (8) and the outer surface of the inner tube (14). There are connecting edges (17) at intervals to help maintain the shape of the inner tube (14) or lower opening (15). There is a projection from the open end (18) for supporting the flange (19) of container (4) when the upper cover (9) is opened from the outer flange (1), and the top rim of the outer flange (1) has an upper connection line (20) which is in the form of projections at intervals. For connection to the lower edge of the cover flange (8) or the lower edge of the cover flange (8) has a lower connection line (21) which is a projecting part at intervals for connection to the upper edge of the outer wear piece (1). The special feature is that the lower opening edge (12) of the upper opening cover (9) has a projecting shoulder (13) to assist in the easier closing and opening of the upper opening cover (9) and the outer wear piece (1).
