Abstract

สูตรเจลสมุนไพรจากลูกประคบและกรรมวิธีการผลิต ได้นำสมุนไพรทั้งหมด 8 ชนิด ไพล ขมิ้นชัน ตะไคร้ ใบมะกรูด ใบมะขาม ใบส้มป่อย พิมเสน และการบูร นำมาทำการสกัดด้วย 95% เอทานอล และทำการ ผลิตเจลลูกประคบ โดยมีน้ำเป็นตัวทำละลายคาร์โบเมอร์ 940 (Carbomer 940) ช่วยให้ความชุ่มชื้นแก่ผิวหนัง แล้วเติมโพรพิลีนไกลคอล (propylene glycol) เป็นสารเพิ่มความชุ่มชื่น สารช่วยหล่อลื่น และลดความหนืด จากนั้นใส่ กลีเซอรีน (gycerine) ใช้เป็นสารหล่อลื่น แล้วใส่ทวีน 20 (tween 20ทำให้ผลิตภัณฑ์ใส ไม่ทำให้ ตกตะกอนและเกิดการแยกชั้น แล้วเติมไตรเอทาโนลาไมน์ (triethanolamine) ช่วยปรับค่าความเป็นกรดด่าง (p H) และเติมโซลีเดนท์ (solidant)เป็นสารกันเสีย กันบูด สารแต่งกลิ่น (ยูคาลิปตัส) บรรเทาอาการปวด กล้ามเนื้อ และเพิ่มมูลค่าให้สมุนไพร่ไทยต่อไปThe herbal gel formula and manufacturing process utilize eight types of herbs: ginger, turmeric, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, tamarind leaves, Spondias pinnata leaves, borneol, and camphor. These herbs are extracted using 95% ethanol. The gel is then produced using water as a solvent for carbomer 940, which provides skin hydration. Propylene glycol is added as a moisturizer, lubricant, and viscosity reducer. Glycerine is used as a lubricant, and Tween 20 is added to ensure clarity, prevent sedimentation, and prevent separation. Triethanolamine is added to adjust pH, and solidant is used as a preservative and fragrance enhancer (eucalyptus). This process also helps alleviate muscle pain and adds value to Thai herbs.

Claims

1. The herbal gel formula from herbal compresses and the manufacturing process consist of: a. Herbal extract (30%), b. Carbomer 940 (1.2%), c. Glycerine (5%), d. Propylene glycol (10%), e. Tween 20 (0.5%), f. Solidant (1%), g. Triethanolamine (0.5%), h. Distilled water (48.8%), i. Essential oil (3%).

2. The manufacturing process for the herbal gel formula from herbal compresses, as per Patent 1, involves the following steps: Step 1: Extract the herbal powders from the herbal compresses, including ginger, turmeric, lemongrass, tamarind leaves, kaffir lime peel, soapberry leaves, borneol, and camphor, using 95% ethanol via maceration at a ratio of 1:2 for 14 days. Step 2: Filter the resulting herbal extract using cheesecloth, then filter again using No. 1 filter paper. Step 3: Store the obtained solution in a sealed container for use in preparing the gel product from the herbal compress extracts. Step 4: Sprinkle Carbomer 940 into distilled water and stir to disperse. Step 5: Mix glycerine and propylene glycol, then add Tween 20 herbal compress mixture to a beaker and stir well. Step 6: Gradually add the solution from step 5 to the solution from step 4, stirring until homogeneous. Next, add the essential oil and solidant. Step 7: Adjust the pH of the gel to approximately 5.5-6.5 using triethanolamine.
