The toilet seat opening and closing device consists of three main parts: a wireless switch box (19), a control box (20), and a lifting mechanism assembly which consists of a mounting base (1) which is a plate mounted on the edge of the toilet seat; a torque motor (5) which is attached to the mounting base (4) with nuts; a pulley shaft (7) which is fitted to the end of the torque motor shaft (5), with a hole in the center for threading one end of the wire rope (14); and a lifting arm bracket (8) which is mounted on the mounting base (4), with a central rotating shaft to connect to one end of the lifting arm (9). The lifting arm (9) is a double beam. The side attached to the toilet seat is flat and even, while the side with the lifting mechanism has a protruding part at the center to serve as a point for receiving the lifting arm (11), and there is another pivot point located two-thirds of the length away from the first pivot point, connected to one end of the lifting arm (10). At the end of the lifting arm (9), at the pivot point where it connects to the lifting arm bracket (8), there is a protruding part. A protruding section (12) on one side is for touching the opening limit sensor, and on the other side is a similar protruding section (13) for touching the closing limit sensor, which are angled 70-90 degrees to each other. The lifting arm (11) is connected to the lifting arm (10) by a pivot point and secured to the wire rope (14) at the pivot point end. The toilet seat opening and closing mechanism is unique in that the lifting mechanism is operated by the lifting arms (9), (10), (11) and wire rope (14) arranged in a triangular pattern, working by a two-stage lifting to reduce the torque of the motor when lifting the seat (2). The first stage of lifting occurs when the torque-driven motor (5) rotates and pulls the wire rope (14), pulling the lifting arm (11) to slide towards and collide with the lifting arm (9) in a horizontal plane. The seat is then lifted by an increasing angle of the lifting arm (9) to the horizontal plane. The second lifting occurs as the wire rope (14), continuously pulled by the torque motor (5), causes the lifting arms (9), (10) and (1) (arranged in a triangular formation) to rotate with the lifting arm holder (8) as the pivot point. When the lifting arm (9) touches the opening limit sensor (12), the torque motor (5) stops. When the user presses the button on the wireless switch box (19) again, the torque motor (5) rotates in the opposite direction to release the wire rope (14). The weight of the toilet seat (2) presses down on the lifting arm (9), and the toilet seat slowly closes as the lifting arms (9), (10), and (11) return to their original alignment before the lifting.
