Abstract
ระบบและวิธีการสำหรับตรวจจับความเร็วรถยนต์พร้อมระบุเลขทะเบียน ที่ประกอบด้วย อุปกรณ์ บันทึกภาพ , หน่วยปรับปรุงภาพ , หน่วยประมวลผลกลาง ฐานข้อมูล , หน่วยแสดงผล โดยที่หน่วย ประมวลผลกลาง ทำหน้าที่ตรวจจับความเร็วรถยนต์และระบุเลขทะเบียน โดยใช้ข้อมูลภาพรถยนต์ที่ เคลื่อนที่ ผ่านจุดที่กำหนดอย่างน้อย 2 จุด แล้วทำการเปรียบเทียบข้อมูลภาพป้ายทะเบียนรถยนต์ จากจุดแรก และจุดที่สอง เพื่อตรวจสอบความถูกต้องของป้ายทะเบียนและระบุว่าเป็นรถยนต์คันเดียวกัน ด้วยวิธีการ เลื่อนหาแบบปกติและการเลื่อนหาแบบมีตัวแทรกของแต่ละตำแหน่งของป้ายทะเบียน จากนั้นทำการให้ คะแนนของแต่ละตัวอักษรที่มีความเหมือน แล้วทำการคำนวณหาความเร็วของรถยนต์ที่เคลื่อนที่ผ่านจุดที่ กำหนดดังกล่าวด้วยวิธีจับเวลา (Stopwatch) ทำให้ได้ค่าความเร็วที่มีความถูกต้องและแม่นยำสูงเทียบเคียง กับการตรวจจับวิธีการอื่นๆ
