ผลิตภัณฑ์พอลิเมอร์ผสมระหว่างพอลิแลตติกแอซิดและยางธรรมชาติที่เติมตัวเชื่อมประสานมี ส่วนประกอบหลักคือ พอลิแลคติกแอซิด ยางธรรมชาติ และยางธรรมชาติดัดแปรซึ่งเป็นตัวเชื่อม ประสาน ซึ่งมีกระบวนการผลิตที่ง่ายไม่ซับซ้อนสามารถผลิตได้ทั้งในระดับอุตสาหกรรมชนาดเล็ก หรืออุตสาหกรรมขนาดใหญ่ ซึ่งผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ได้จะมีความต้านทานต่อแรงกระแทกมากกว่าพอลิแลคติก แอซิดถึงสามเท่า โดยความต้านทานต่อการดึงยืดลดลงเพียงเล็กน้อยเท่านั้น ซึ่งผลิตภัณฑ์พอลิเมอร์ผสม ที่มีคุณสมบัติต้านทานต่อแรงกระแทกที่ดีนี้ สามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการผลิตบรรจุภัณฑ์ต่างๆได้
