การประดิษฐ์ปัจจุบันจัดให้มีองค์ประกอบเเละวิธีการใช้ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับโปรตีนที่ใช้จับ ตัวอย่างเช่นเเอนติบอดีเเละชิ้นส่วนที่จับกับเเอนติเจนของเเอนติบอดีดังกล่าว ซึ่งจับกับโปรตีน เมทริกซ์เมทัลโลโปรตีเนส-9(matrix metalloproteinase-9)(MMP9)เป็นที่รู้จักในอีกชื่อ หนึ่งคือ เจลาติเนส-B)โดยที่โปรตีนที่ใช้จับประกอบด้วยสายหนักของอิมมูโกลบูลิน(Ig) หรือชิ้นส่วนทำหน้าที่ของสิ่งนี้ เเละสายเบา Ig(หรือชิ้นส่วนทำหน้าที่ของสิ่งนี้)

1.โปรตีนที่จับกับ MMP9(MMP9 binding protein)ซึ่งประกอบด้วย พอลิเปปไทด์สายหนักอิมมูโนโกลบูลิน หรือชิ้นส่วนทำหน้าที่ของพอลิเปปไทด์นี้ เเละ พอลิเปปไทด์สายเเบาอิมมูโนโกลบูลิน หรือชิ้นส่วนทำหน้าที่ของพอลิเปปไทด์นี้ โดยที่โปรตีนที่จับกับ MMP9 จับโดยจำเพาะกับ MMP9
