1. สารผสมทางเภสัชกรรมซึ่งเกิดเป็นเลซิธินเจลในร่างกายที่ใช้สำหรับปล่อยสารออกฤทธิ์ทางชีววิทยาออกเป็นระยะยาว ซึ่ง ประกอบด้วย 1) ตัวทำละลายอินทรีย์ที่ใช้ได้ในทางเภสัชกรรมซึ่งแทบจะไม่ ละลายในน้ำ 1 ส่วนโดยน้ำหนัก 2) สารออกฤทธิ์ทางชีววิทยาดังกล่าวในปริมาณที่ให้ผลในการ รักษาโรค ซึ่งกระจายอยู่ในตัวทำละลายดังกล่าว และ 3) เลซิธินประมาณ 0.1 ถึง ประมาณ 2.0 ส่วนโดยน้ำหนัก ซึ่ง กระจายอยู่ในตัวทำละลายดังกล่าว
