กรรมวิธีการผลิตน้ำมันที่ใช้กับเครื่องยนต์ดีเซล โดยนำน้ำมันพืช (น้ำมันปาล์มหรือน้ำ มันละหุ่ง) มาแยกเกรดออกด้วยจุดเยือกแข็งที่อุณหภูมิประมาณ -5 ํC ถึง 15 ํC

1. กรรมวิธีการผลิตน้ำมันที่ใช้กับเครื่องยนต์ดีเซลจากน้ำมันพืชที่ประกอบด้วยขั้นตอนดัง นี้ ก. การนำน้ำมันพืชมาแช่ในเครื่องทำความเย็นที่ตั้งอุณหภูมิไว้ที่ 15 ํC และ ค่อยๆ ลดอุณหภูมิจนถึง -5 ํC เป็นเวลาประมาณ 60 นาที ข. การแยกสารละลายออกจากไขที่แข็งตัวของน้ำมันที่ได้จากขั้นตอน ก. มาผ่าน เครื่องกรองเพื่อดักเอาน้ำออก ค. การกรองสารละลายที่ได้จากข้อ ข. โดยผ่านเข้าไปในไส้กรองละเอียด เพื่อให้ ได้น้ำมัน และ ง. นำน้ำมันที่ได้จากข้อ ค. มาปรับค่า ซีเทนโดยเติมสารไอโซอ๊อกเทน และ เอนเฮปเทน เพื่อให้ได้ ซีเทนอินเดรดประมาณ 47
