The locking recess releases the locking tab and unlocks the light cover in the unlocked position; this causes the light cover to open when the outer light cover opening assembly, moving along the groove, presses against the locking tab. This releases the locking recess from the locking tab and then pushes the light cover from the closed to the open position.
