Изобретение относитс  к об асги технологии очистки природных и сточных Вод, а более конкретно к очистке от сероводорода подземных вод, используемых дл  целей водоснайкени , и сточны вод предпри тий нефтеперерабатывающей промышленности, производства вискозного волокна и т. д., содержащих в своем составе сероводород. Известен способ очистки воды от сер водорода аэрацией боздухом 1 j . Недостатком этого способа  вл етс  то, что дл  достижени  необходимой ст пени очистки требуетс  подкис ленке обрабатываемой Воды до рН 5. При этом весь сероводород переводитс  в молекул рный Н 5 и выдуваетс  в еггмосферу . Этот способ очистки воды от серово дорода св зан с загр знением воздушного бассейна токсичным сероводородом. Наиболее близким к изобретению по технической сущности н достигаемому результату  вл етс  способ, заключающийс  в аэрации очищаемой воды кислородом воздуха в присутствии солей желе за. При этом образуетс  трудноосаждаемый сульфид железа, дл  удалени  которого требуетс  увеличение объема очистных сооружений. Расход солей Fe (П) по этому методу составл ет 3,3 мг на , 1 мг HjS . Аэрацию производ т при атмосферном давлении. При обработке вока этим способом достигаетс  степень очистки вода от сероводорода до 95%. Дл  У|Далени  остаточного сероводорода в технологической схеме предусматриваетс  хлорирование обработанной воды 2. Целью изобретени   вл етс  повышение степени очистки воды. Поставленна  цель достигаетс  тем, что в способе очистки воды от сероводорода аэрацией воздухом в присутствии солей железа аэрацию производ т после подщелачивани  воды до рН 7,5-8,5.
