26.12.76.The invention relates to magnetic measurements and can be used to protect the magnetically sensitive elements of various physical and measuring devices and devices from, for example, the components of the earth's magnetic field, since it provides a selective decrease in the intensity of two given quadrature components of the magnetic field induction, which allows the use of such a screen in conjunction with a modular quantum magnetometer as a measurer of variations of the third non-weakened field component. A magnetic screen is known, which contains n thin-walled cylindrical shells with open ends. A disadvantage of such a device is its low stability and low anisotropy of the screening coefficient. The closest in technical essence is a magnetic screen. containing p thin-walled cylindrical shielding shells / between which there are non-magnetic seals of foamed granulated polymer material z. The disadvantage of such a screen is the limited scope due to the low selectivity and low stability of the shielding factor. The known device can be used only to eliminate external magnetic fields inside the working cavity of the screen. Regardless of the orientation of these fields. Its use for the selective attenuation of specified components of the magnetic field induction vector is completely excluded. Thus, the shielding coefficient along the longitudinal axis of a cylindrical tube with a diameter of 8 cm, made of a precision 79NZM alloy with an initial magnetic permeability of 5-10, is equal to 501. Temperature changes in the permeability of the screen material (0.25 / degree) with an increase in temperature only by do lead to an increase in the coefficient of shielding up to aljBOS. Let the external measured field in which the screen is placed has an intensity of 4 Oe and is directed along the axis of the screen. In this case, the indicated temperature changes of the screening coefficient lead to a change in the field intensity inside the screen by the height) H / kQkQ 12 j; which is completely unacceptable. At the same time, the estimated screening coefficient of such a screen in the direction perpendicular to the axis is only 18.7, so in the general case there are intense interfering components of the magnetic field strength vector orthogonal to the axes of the screen and excluding the possibility of component measurements. The purpose of the invention is to increase the selectivity and stability of the shielding factor. To achieve this goal, in a magnetic screen containing n shielding shells with non-magnetic shims located between them, shielding shells and non-magnetic shims are made in the form of rings arranged coaxially. The cross-sectional area of the shielding of the shell increases from the middle to the edges of the screen, so that 9ts / 5o 1 3 where 5 is the cross-sectional area at the edges of the screen, and SQ is in the middle part of the screen. In addition, the thickness of non-magnetic gaskets lies within:, where a is the width of the shielding shells, t is the thickness of the non-magnetic gaskets, T is the thickness of the shielding shells. FIG. 1 shows the design of the screen; in fig. 2 - the dependence of the parameters of the studied model of the screen on its characteristic dimensions. The magnetic screen contains (see Fig. 1) shielding shells 1 and non-magnetic spacers 2. The magnetic screen works in the following way. The shielding of the external magnetic field is achieved, as with the known magnetic shields, due to the low magnetic resistance of the shielding shells. However, in the direction of the screen axis, the magnetic resistance is large due to the presence of a large number of non-magnetic gaps, and in the direction perpendicular to the axis, it is small due to the presence of a large number of shielding materials with high magnetic conductivity arranged in parallel planes. The construction of an adequate mathematical model of the proposed screen design is difficult. Therefore, a reduced screen model with a length of 75 mm, assembled from several hundred rings made from 79 NM alloy, has been investigated. The thickness of the non-magnetic gaskets varied from, to 0.798 mm. In ± 1, a magnetic field with a frequency of 20 Hz is created by Helmholtz rings, separated from the screen by 0.75 m, and the corresponding low-frequency generator. The intensity of the field inside the screen is measured using a compact magnetic induction sensor with trans. malloy core. An increase in the cross sectional area of the magnetic screen and the correspondence of the geometric dimensions to the given inequality leads to an increase in the anisotropy of the screening coefficient. The plots (Fig. 2) show that the screening coefficient of the proposed magnetic screen is sharply anisotropic. Measure of anisotropy, S (Kj-l) / (kcj-l), where KQ and k are, respectively, the screening coefficients along the screen axis and in the direction perpendicular to the axis. Thus, the implementation of screening shells in the form of coaxial rings makes it possible to create a screen with a very peS to the pronounced selectivity of the screening factor. For example, at 2.8,, 5 9930. A similar screen is oriented vertically and placed in an earth's magnetic field with a vertical component, for example, Z 0, E and a horizontal component x 0.1 E. Inside the screen, for example), 8 we get; 2: o Z / Kj, 0.393 Oe and. Using a quantum (proton or helium) magnetometer, the sensitive cell of which is placed in the central part of the screen, it is possible to determine the value of the modulus of the total magnetic field vector of the magnetic field. Inside the screen: Vzo4x Z (, (And 1119. 1 О jfez. Thus In this case, the modular magnetometer responds only to the vertical component of the terrestrial magnetic field and its variations, which are slightly reduced in intensity. Therefore, a combination of the proposed magnetic screen and a modular magnetometer can be used as a component variometer to measure the magnitude of variations in the geomagnetic field. Thus, the proposed magnetic screen allows the traditional field of application of magnetic screens to be expanded (weakening the magnetic fields created by external sources of the internal cavity). screen regardless of the orientation of these fields) and use the screen as the primary node of the magnetometer system. The use of such a screen allows the components to measure the magnetic field intensity vector using high-precision modular quantum magnetometers. claim 1.
