Abstract

A twisting-and-shaping member for a ringless spinning device comprises a rotor having a disc 2 with slots 5 for the passage of air and a channel for the passage of fibres. A resilient clamp is located below the disc and adjoins its bottom surface. Fibre-retaining projections 8 are located on a top surface of the disc between the slots.
