Гор чие трещины при сварке ацетилено-кислородным пламенем малоуглеродистой стали толщиной 0,8- 1,5 мм образуютс  при повышенном содержании углерода и серы в стали . Так как углерод увеличивает вредное вли ние серы, уменьшение склонности металла к образованию трещин достигаетс  увеличением содержани  марганца в наплавленном металле. Применение марганцовистой проволоки в качестве присадки с содержанием углерода не свыше 0,2% и марганца от 1,2 до 1,6% резко снижает количество трещин .Hot cracks when welding with an acetylene-oxygen flame of low carbon steel with a thickness of 0.8-1.5 mm are formed with an increased content of carbon and sulfur in the steel.
