The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, in particular, to the production of steel and alloys in arc electroplates. A well-known arc steel-smelting furnace, comprising a casing, side walls made of carbon-containing material (graphite), water-cooled refrigerators embedded in a graphite lining of side walls and located along the perimeter of the lining in several rows vertically, the bottom layer of refrigerators located 100 mm above the slag layer , and the height between rows of refrigerators is equal to 40O mm l}. The disadvantages of the known furnace are the increased wear of the lining due to currents induced in the graphite refractories by the currents flowing in the electrodes; significant heat losses through the lining due to the use of refrigerators in combination with graphite refractories with high thermal conductivity. At the same time, the furnace lining on the slag zone is not protected from the aggressive components of the slag, primarily FeO .. Closest to the proposed arc steel-smelting furnace, comprising a casing, electrodes, lining of the vault, walls and bottom, pairs per edge installed in the lining of the bottom and the slopes of the conductive plates facing the metal and the casing of the furnace bath are insulated between the plates and they are connected to the positive and negative power source Nn via a switch connected to the measuring The instrument 2. The disadvantages of this furnace are the low durability of the lining, since the plates serve only to monitor the condition of the lining, as well as the fact that a pair of plates with an insulating layer of sufficiently large dimensions are laid in the perimeter lining, which presents certain difficulties in its laying, besides they weaken the lining. The purpose of the invention is to increase the durability of the lining by reducing the currents induced in the working layer of the lining by currents flowing in the electrodes. The goal is achieved by the fact that in an electric steel-smelting furnace containing a casing, lining of the vault, walls and bottom, alectrode, pairs installed in the lining on the edge of conductive plates connected to the power source, the plates are installed in the lining of the walls on the same level radially to the working surface lining, and their ends are located at the level of the working surface of the lining. Plates are installed at a level of 0.6–0.8 of the wall lining height from the top of the furnace. Pairs of plates are installed along the perimeter of the lining opposite the electrodes and the distance between the plates is equal to R; the plates are made of a length equal to 5y the thickness of the lining of the walls, and a height of 0.1-0.3 of the height of the lining, sTen. The level of installation of the plates (0.6-0.8 of the height of the lining of the walls) corresponds to the level of the zones of maximum wear of the lining along the height of the furnace. Below the lining is closed with slag and is outside the active zone of the arc, and above 0.6 the wear of the lining is less intense, since at this level the arcs do not have such a significant effect on it, moreover, at this level the lining is no longer in contact with aggressive slag. The plates should face out to the level of the working surface of the lining, as the induced currents pass along its surface, which is in a softened state and has a lower resistance. Pairs of plates are installed along the perimeter of the lining opposite the electrodes and the distance between the plates is equal to Ж R; which corresponds to the zones of maximum wear of the lining around the furnace perimeter and provides leveling of induced currents in these areas. The dimensions of the plates - the length, equal to the thickness of the lining of the walls ,, and the height of 0.10, 3 of the height of the lining of the walls - provide a sufficiently reliable protection of the lining in places of maximum wear. The height of the plate is 0.1-0.3 of the height of the fusing of the furnace walls corresponds to the size of the zones of maximum wear in its height, which follows from direct measurements of these areas on the operating furnaces. FIG. .1 shows the proposed oven with plates, a longitudinal section; in fig. 2 - the same cross section. Conductive plates are installed in the lining of 1 electric arc furnace.
2. Through the holes in the casing 3 of the furnace plate are connected by conductors to the switching device t. The furnace allows you to increase the resistance of the lining by reducing the currents induced in the working layer by its currents flowing in the electrodes, by applying through the switching device to the plate EMF, equal in magnitude and opposite to the directional induced. Example. In the lining of a 100-ton electric arc furnace with a transformer capacity of 60 MVD with its masonry install 6 molybdenum plates with a length of 525 mm, equal to the thickness of the lining of the walls, and a height of 400 mm, which corresponds to 0.2 of the height of the lining of the walls. The pairs of plates are set opposite the electrodes, the distance between the plates is 1.6 m (4g-R), while they are set vertically in planes perpendicular to the tangents to the working surface of the lining, on the same horizon at level 1, M from the top of the furnace, which corresponds to 0.7 height of the lining of the walls, the ends of the plates reach the level of the working surface of the lining. The pairs of plates are connected to a switching device consisting of a zero-body regulating transformer, a rectifying bridge, an amplifier, and an engine, allowing to measure the induced voltage and to supply the corresponding electromotive force to the plates. During operation of such a furnace during the campaign, the lining durability increases by about 25, and the productivity of the furnace increases due to the possibility of reducing lead smelting, in particular, the melting period with greater intensity by 10.
