(54) METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A DECORATIVE TAPE The invention relates to the building materials industry, to the methods of producing painted sheet decorative materials by the method of rolling, and can be used in the production of facing materials, such as ishakositall, marblit, marble, etc; rolled from cheap raw materials. In view of the high temperature of the christening glass mass used to produce these materials — about 13001350 ° C and low viscosities at a generation temperature of 100-500 poise, the supply of the glass melt to the rolling stock in these cases is carried out with the help of a jet feeder. A characteristic feature of this method of forming is that when glass is fed to a rolling machine in the form of a jet onto its shaft, a pulsating bulb is formed, in which a steady distribution of glass melt flows is observed. These streams do not have a noticeable effect on the decorative qualities of the ribbon in the production of colorless or uniquely colored glass mass. When applying to the lower shaft of the rolling machine of a partially painted jet, the glass
STEPARD sy, due to the presence of stationary flows in the bulb, is large. part of. painted glass goes to its periphery, and after rolling it is distributed on the sides and the back side of the tape. A smaller part of the colored glass mass is distributed on the upper surface of the tape. This leads to a significant increase in the consumption of dyes. In addition, due to the thickening of the glass melt and the pulsating nature of the bulb, only symmetrically arranged transverse color stripes are formed on the molded ribbon, which significantly reduces the decorative qualities of the material obtained. There is a known method of producing a low-viscosity glass melt with a large crystallization capacity by feeding it to a rolling machine with the help of several jets, which are then rolled into one common ribbon 1. Using this method to obtain a non-repeating decorative pattern on JieHTe is impossible, since when applying partially colored jets (one or several) in a pulsating bulb formed on the upper shaft, the pulsating bulb is also installed. stationary streams of irregularly colored glass mass, resulting in increased irrational consumption of dyes and the formation of a series of symmetrically arranged stripes in the transverse direction when rolled on the ribbon, are cast. The closest to the technical essence and the achieved effect to the proposed method is the method of making decorative glass ribbon by sequentially feeding the main and colored melts before the upper section of the rolling mill and forming between its two shafts f2J The disadvantage of this method is that it does not provide glass from quick crystallized glass, low-viscous glass mass. The purpose of the invention is to provide glass from fast crystallizing low viscosity glass melt with a minimum consumption of colored melt. The above objective is achieved by the fact that in the method of making decorative glass ribbon by successively feeding the main and colored melts in front of the upper shaft of the rolling machine and molding between its two shafts, the main melt is jetted to the lower rolling shaft, and the colored melt in the area bounded by an ellipse with the dimensions of the axis perpendicular to the direction of drawing, 0.1–0.2 of the width of the tape and the axis parallel to the direction of drawing, 0.01–0.1 of the width of the tape. FIG. 1 shows the device, top view; figure 2 is the same, side view. In order to obtain decorative glass, the flow distribution feature in the bulb 1 of glass melt forming on the lower shaft 2 of the rolling machine during jet feeding is used. When forming the tape 3 in the bulb 1 of the main unpainted glass in front of the upper shaft 4 of the rolling machine, a raised crest is formed, the axis 5 of which is parallel to the axis of the shaft. Glass melts have a maximum speed at the point where the main melt 6 jet hits the onion. Conversely, on the crest of the bulb flow rates are minimal. Therefore, when the colored glass mass 7 is supplied to the crest of the bulb, it is carried by streams mainly along its surface. Under certain conditions, it is possible to achieve such a position in which the removal of colored glass onto the lower surface of the glass ribbon would be excluded. Experiments have shown that around the center-ridge, which is the point of intersection of the axes of the tape 8 and ridge 5, there is an area 9, the flow into which the colored melt ensures its distribution mainly along the surface of the tape. To create a decorative pattern across the entire width of the ribbon 9 produced with a minimum consumption of dyes, the colored glass mass is fed to different parts of the bulb crest. In order to avoid the formation of transverse strips (zebra) symmetrically located on both sides of the ribbon, as well as to prevent the colored glass mass from being carried onto the back side of the ribbon, the area of color glass melt is bounded by an ellipse located in the center of the bulb ridge with axial dimensions of 0.1-0, 2 perpendicular and 0.01-0.1. in the direction of drawing from the width of the moldable glass ribbon, respectively. Under these conditions, the melt of colored glass is randomly distributed over the surface of the bulbs, and the absence of intense transverse flow of glass melt directly under the upper shaft allows to maintain the uneven coloring of noBepxHOfjti tape during rolling. Example. It is required to obtain a tape of jammed glass with a surface decorative non-repeating pattern 500 mm wide and 6-7 mm thick. As the main glass of the jammed (white), an alkali alkaline glass is used, which has the following chemical system,% SiOj 67; CaO 26; MDO 3; one; 3. ° The temperature of the upper limit of crystallization of this glass is 1350s, KTR 65-10. Rolling speed 40-45 rm. m / h The melt viscosity on the bulb is 100-300 poise, which corresponds to 1330-1370s. Coloring is carried out by adding various colors, bodies: CoO,. FeaO and others. A colored melt stream with a temperature along a moving elliptical-shaped tray enters the row of onions of the main glass mass and randomly spreads over its surface, after which it rolls on with an upper roller. The area of the color melt spreading and the nature of its distribution over the surface of the main glass melt depend on the size of the ellipse described by the tray. With a required color front equal to 500 mm, the dimensions of the axes of the ellipse should not exceed 50–100 mm in the direction perpendicularly drawn, and 5–50 mm in the direction of the pairwise drawing. Changing the temperature of the jet of colored glass mass over a wide range, as well as the shape of the drain tray, you can adjust the intensity of the resulting color and the total area of the colored ribbon twofold.
