FIG. 1 schematically depicts a proximity switch; in fig. 2 - a pair of rows of spring-loaded buttons with a light guide between them; in fig. 3 - drum with code holes and a source of light; in fig. 4 - spring-loaded button and light guide.
5.The device includes a light source 1 installed inside the drum 2 with code holes 3, light-emitting diodes 4 of rectangular shape made of a transparent material (for example, organic glass) a row of buttons 5, pressed by springs 6, a light-tight screen is attached to each spring-loaded button 5 7 with an opening 8 for transmitting the light flux from the light guide 4 to the light receivers 9, in which photodiodes, phototrioids and photoresistances can be used. Above each light guide 4 in the base 10, slots 11 are made, which ensure continuous monitoring of the health of the light source 1 and signaling the activation of individual rows (registers) of spring-loaded buttons 5.
The operation of the device is as follows.
п.When the device is switched on, the luminous flux from the light source 1 is directed to those optical fibers 4, against which the code holes 3 of the reel 2 are located at a specific moment of time. Due to incomplete internal reflection in the optical fiber, the luminous flux is supplied through the side surfaces of the optical fiber to the opaque 7 spring-loaded screens buttons 5, located along the fiber, i.e., the push-button register is activated. At the same time, the luminous flux through the upper surface of the optical fiber is reflected in the slot 11 of the base 10, which ensures control of the operability of the light source and signaling the activation of the corresponding button register. When any button of the register is pressed, the hole 8 of the opaque screen 7 is tired between the side surface of the light guide 4 and the light receiver 9, while the light flux is also transmitted to the button body, creating a glow of the button face, i.e., inducing it to turn on. Under the influence of light in the light-receiving device 9, a control signal is generated, i.e., the pressed button is switched on. Likewise, any button of the enabled register of the contactless switch is turned on. The control of the inclusion of knochny registers is carried out by discrete movement (rotation) of the drum 2 around the axis of the light source 1, and this rotation can be achieved by using, for example, pulsmotors, stepper motors, etc., widely used in practice.
