Description
(54) METHOD OF PROTECTING THE STACKED USE OF FOSSIBLE
AND ITS CONCENTRATES FROM SAMONAGROUND AND SELF-IGNITION
The invention relates to the mining industry and can be used for protection against spontaneous combustion of minerals and their concentrates stored in piles. A known method of protecting a pile of peat from spontaneous combustion, I conclude (XII) that dumping the stack is carried out in succession by two coats, between which a polyethylene film Clj is placed. The method of this method is that it cannot be used to protect against spontaneous combustion mineral foil, since the polyethylene film tears and does not provide reliable protection of the stack. There is also a known method of protecting the mineral and mineral cores from self heating and self-heating, which consists of a medium for reducing its chemical activity, using mechanical pins forming the external circuit of electroplating pairs 23. The disadvantage of this method is the impossibility of using non-metallic minerals and low reliability. and improving the efficiency of protecting the stack of the mineral from self-heating and spontaneous combustion and the reliability of its long-term storage. This goal is achieved by the fact that when dumping a pile into its body layers of horizontally arranged perforated pipes made of a material with a high degree of thermal conductivity are layered in layers. and after filling the stack, heat pipes are introduced into 1 perforated pipes, by means of which excess heat is removed from the heating zones of the mineral, and the perforated pipes in each subsequent row are shifted relative to the previous one to form the stacked pipes fossil. FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of the method, vertical section; in fig. 2 - stack of mineral, view from the introduction side of perforated
3.pipes; in fig. 3 — means for carrying out the method, general view; in fig. 4 is a view A of FIG. 3
2.In the body of the stack 1 of the mineral or its concentrate is laid in the transverse direction, perforated pipes 2, the ends of which are closed by covers 3, in the center of the covers (There are holes 4 sealed with sealers 5 through which heat pipes b with radiator head 7 are inserted into the pipe the end of the perforated pipe 2.
Perforated tubes 2 made of a material with a high degree of thermal conductivity in horizontal layers displace each subsequent row relative to the previous one in a body in a transverse direction, forming a staggered arrangement of perforated tubes in a vertical plane, i.e. the height of the stack of minerals.
After filling part or all of the piles, heat pipes b, which operate in the evaporation-condensation mode, are inserted into the perforated pipes laid in its body. With an increase in temperature {l inside the stack as a result of the activation of the oxidation process, the heat carrier in the heat tube evaporates, while excess heat is absorbed.
The evaporated coolant is transported and condensed into a portion of the tube, which is withdrawn from the stack and equipped with a radiator cap, giving off heat to the atmosphere.
In winter, heat pipes are installed for 2-3 days, then they are removed, so as not to freeze the core pile, especially at high humidity of the mineral and low atmospheric air temperatures. In the summer, heat pipes work the whole season.
Thus, reducing and maintaining the temperature inside the stack of the mineral at the level of the ambient air temperature helps protect the stack from self-heating and spontaneous combustion without destroying it and moving it by using heat pipes to remove heat.
