В ОСНОВНОМ авт. св. № 83656 описан универсальный прибор дл ре тьефного письма слепыми азбукой Брайл и дл обычного письма выполненный в виде доски, снабженной углублени ми дл выдавливани на бумаге точек через откидную лидейку с окнами и продольным направл ющим вырезом дл обычного письма.BASIC Auth. St. No. 83656 describes a universal device for retrieving letters by the blind alphabet of Braille and for ordinary writing made in the form of a board with recesses for extruding dots on paper through a folding ledge with windows and a longitudinal guide cut for ordinary writing.

Дл построчной подачи бумаги в этом приборе применены враш,ающиес валики с храповым механизмом. Та,кой механизм подачи бумаги создает некоторую сложность и громоздкость прибора.For line feed paper, this device uses vrash rollers with a ratchet mechanism. На плоской доске / прибора сделаны углублени 2 по системе Брайл , которые перекрываютс плоской линейкой 3 с пр моугольными окнами , соответствующими по размерам углублени м 2. На своих конца.х линейка 5 имеет круглые цапфы 4, вход щие в отверсти двух рычагов 5, расположенных по обеим сторонам прибора на сквозной продольной оси 6. Один ,из рычагов посажен на ось наглухо, а другой укреплен щпилькой 7. Линейка предназначена не только дл письма по системе Брайл , но и дл передвижени бумаги со строки на строку, поворотом ее вокруг своей оси. Дл поворота линейки 3 вокруг своей оси служит руко тка 8, укрепленна на цапфе при помощи щпильки 9.
