Abstract

1483748 Mixing plant SUOMEN VANU TEHDAS-FINNWAD Ltd OY 18 Dec 1974 [21 Dec 1973] 54757/74 Heading B1C Apparatus for proportioning and mixing cellulose fibres and flakes comprises apparatus (1, Fig. 1 not shown) for shredding dry sheet cellulose, a shredder (3) for mechanical woodpulp, and optionally a cutter with (6) for production waste from wood processing, respectively supplied by feeders (2, 4, 5) which may be controlled to produce a pre-selected mix. The materials are pneumatically conveyed through at least one cyclone as 7, 8 to a mixer and distributor 9 the level in which is controlled by an ultrasonic level sensor 10 which controls the motors of the feeders (2, 4, 5). The mixer 9 has fixed rods 15 and rotating arms 14, and discharges into one to four twin star-wheel metering devices 17, whence the material is pneumatically conveyed to a cyclone 20 at the top of a rectangular tube 22, at the bottom of which is a pair of rotors 31, 32 rotating in opposite senses and each having double helical projections. In a modification, see Fig. 4 (not shown) the rotors may have four stepped helical projections. They discharge to a smaller mixing roller 34 which is provided with four vanes (37, Figs. 6, 6A not shown) of e.g. balata belting. The mixture thence passes to a processing machine. The level of material in the tube 22 is controlled by a photocell 23 which controls the star-wheel metering device 17, and the tube has a door 25 hinged at 24 and struck outward blows by a hammer 29. In operation a demand from a processing machine starts the motor for the rollers 31, 32, 34 and for the hammer 29. Fall of level in the tube 22 causes the photocell device 23 to start the star-wheel metering device 17. The ultrasonic level sensor 10 then starts the material feeding devices.

Примерно посредине буикер имеет шарнирно укрепленную дверцу , котора  испытывает направленные наружу Удары, частота которых составл ет до 200 в минуту. Направл ющие валики 12 и 13 подают массу на смесительный валик 14.
