54) LIQUID DIFMANOMETER
1The invention relates to a measurement technique and can be used in devices for measuring pressure translucent using photo meniscus of a liquid. Devices are known comprising a liquid manometer, means of illumination and photographing 11. The disadvantage of these devices is the inconsistency of the invention of the level boundary when photographing. Closest to the proposed technical entity is a illuminated manometer, containing transparent tubes with a working liquid, a transparent scale, and a flat screen with illumination lamps 2 behind it. The disadvantage of this differential pressure gauge is an increased error in determining the position of the liquid meniscus, for example, during vibration. The purpose of the invention is to improve the measurement accuracy when using a transparent working fluid. This goal is achieved by the fact that in a differential pressure gauge a screen is made of a light-scattering material, and between the screen and the tubes is placed parallel to the axis of the tubes and the screen an additional screen in the form of a strip made of light-absorbing material, the width of the band does not exceed the internal diameter of the tube. FIG. 1 shows the proposed device; in fig. 2 is a section A-A in FIG. 1. The device contains glass tubes 1 which are connected to each other at the bottom through a hose 2 and are fitted with fittings 3. In tubes 1 there is a colorless working fluid 4, for example water. In addition, it contains a backlight lamp 5, a light-scattering screen b and a transparent shield 7, on which a scale of 8 readings is applied. Between the tubes and the screen is placed parallel to the axis of the tubes and the screen an additional screen in the form of a strip 9 made of a light-absorbing material, and the width of the strip does not exceed the internal diameter of the tube. Differential meter works as follows. The fittings 3 are connected to points where measurements are required. The pressure measured is balanced by a liquid column 4.
