Description

Machines for wrapping and packaging fruit with a hopper for loading and feeding fruit, a pusher, a nodding fruit with paper cut off from a roll through a rubber ring, and a periodically moving conveyor with boxes for fruit packed are already known.

The proposed machine is different in that, in order to twist and squeeze the ends of the paper on the fruit into a bundle, a shutter with a knife mounted on it is used to trim the ends of the boom left from the wrapper.

FIG. I shows a longitudinal section of the machine; in fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the closure to the machine of FIG. 1 for compressing and curling paper; in fig. 3 is a top view of a box for packing fruit; in fig. 4 is a detail of the machine of FIG. one.

The machine consists of a bunker 1, a pusher 2 pushing the fruit with paper cut off from the roll through the rubber ring 3, and a conveyor 4 (Fig. I).

When the machine is in operation, the roller 6, having a sector cutout and rotating around its axis, feeds the fruits one by one from the bin 5 of the hopper through a rubber ring 3 onto a square sheet of paper covering the round opening of the table.

The plunger 2, having a rubber head, lowers itself and pushes the fruit with the paper through the circular opening of the rotating shutter 7, to form a paper bag. The ends of the paper bag using the strip 8 and the plate 9 of the shutter (Fig. 2) are compressed into a bundle. The knife 10 cuts off the excess paper, and the brush // moving back and forth removes the cuts in tray 12.

The shutter 7 (Fig. 2) consists of a disk 13 with a hole in the center. On the disk, the bolts are fastened on the axes of the yoke 14, which in turn are pivotally connected to the plates 9 that have on; se the rigidly fortified bands 8.

When the rocker arm 14 rotates around its axis, the sides of the square formed by the plates approach each other to the position shown on the right in FIG. 2, and compress the paper in a bundle, the twisting of which is achieved by a constant rotation of the shutter.

The rotation of the fetus is prevented by the receiver 15, which has hollow rubber walls (Fig. 1).

After cutting off the excess paper, the shutter opens and the incoming next fruit pushes the previous one into the drawer.

The paper from the roll 16, which is freely rotating in the centers, by scrolling the roller 17, is cut into longitudinal strips by a disk knife 18 entering the recess of the roller 17.

Periodic feeding of paper onto the table is made by the conveyor 19 with the slats 20 and 21, which can come closer and diverge when the connecting rod 22 moves.

Cutting the strip of paper into squares produces a toothed knife 23 (Fig. 1 and 4). The slats 24 press the paper against the table at the time of cutting.

The supply of boxes for packing fruit produces periodically conveyor 4 with grippers 25.

For the purpose of placing the fruits in the correct rows, frames 26 with rubber rods 27 (Fig. 1 and 3) are pre-installed in the drawer, the walls of which form unclosed round cells in the plan.
