По основному авт. св. № 218548 известен лентопрот жный механизм, сос то щий из электромагнита,  корь которо имеет вилку с двум  выступами, между которыми расположено нижнее плечо собачки, шаршфно сид щей внутри подпружиненной н взаимодействующей с  корем электромагнита, и расположенной между упорами, один из которых вы полнен эксцентриковым. . Недостатками такого механизма  вл етс  значительное накопление погрещности щага, сложность при повторной установке ленты в заданном .положении и низка  точшсть остановки ленты в позиции обработки, так как лента не имеет жееткой фиксации транспортной дорожки относительно направл ющей. Целью изобрет пга  вл етс  повьппение точности остановки перфоленты с транспортной дорожкой в позиции обработки . Поставленна  цель достигаетс  тем, что предложенный лентотфот жный механизм содержит фиксирующий штифт, установленный на нахфавл ющей в зоне транспортной дорожки и прижимную упругую пластину с продольньш пазом, закрепленную на рамке и св занную с собачкой .
