Description
(54) METHOD OF PAPER PAPER IN MASS
Количество 0,25%-ного раствора по- лиэтиленимина от 0,1 до 0,5% к массе соединени алюмини необходимо и достаточно , так как меньше О,1% эффекта не дает, а больше 0,5% эффект улучшени степени проклейки и показателей прочноети бумаги не повышает, поэтому нет необходимости увеличивать расход полнэтиленвмина .The invention relates to the field of pulp and paper production and can be used in the manufacture of various types of writing, typographical, wallpaper, sacking, cartographic and other sized paper. The known method of paper sizing with rosin glue using aluminum compounds as coagulants. The method is based on the fact that various adhesives based on rosin are introduced into the pulp. Since cellulose fibers and particles of rosin glue have a negative charge, aluminum ammonium alumina or aluminum alumina and other aluminum compounds are used to precipitate glue particles. As a result of the hydrolysis of these compounds, a positively charged hydroxide of alumina is formed, which recharges the glue particles and fixes them on the fibers l. This sizing method has the significant disadvantage that good sizing results are obtained only in an acidic medium at pH 4.5-5.0. It is within these pH ranges that aluminum hydroxide has a positive charge. With an increase in the pH value, the charge value of the hydroxyl oxide decreases, and at pH 6.57, 0 it changes the sign of the charge to the opposite and becomes like a coagulant of adhesive particles non-effective. Paper obtained in an acidic medium, having a good degree of sizing, has low mechanical strength and low durability. In addition, an acid reflux leads to incomplete retention of fiber fines and fillers, as well as accelerated wear of clothes and corrosion of the process equipment. There is also a known method of paper sizing, in which new sizing agents or various additives to rosin adhesives, improving their properties, or additions to a pulp composition are proposed instead of rosin in order to improve the retention of adhesive parts in the paper web. As such additives in the known methods, cationic polyelectrolytes are recommended 2, However, this method is not economical due to the high cost and scarcity of recommended chemicals, with good sizing results do not provide sufficient mechanical strength of the paper. The method of paper sizing in oil is known, which consists in introducing 3% rosin glue into the pulp of bleached sulphate pulp and, after mixing, add aluminum compounds in the amount of 5-10% by weight of absolutely dry fibers counting on А6 „О ,,. As aluminum compounds, aluminum sulfate or sodium aluminum is used. Then the pH of the mass is adjusted to 7.8–8.2 using sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid additives, after which paper is poured at the same pH of the mass at which L3J adhesion is carried out. The use of aluminum sulphate as a coagulant by this method does not give good sizing in an alkaline medium; the mechanical strength of paper is lower than that of kosher molded castings obtained in an acidic medium at pH 4.5-5.0. When sodium aluminate is used as a coagulant, the mechanical strength of the paper is improved, and the sizing rate remains low. However, despite a slight increase in the mechanical strength of the paper at pH 7.8–8.2, the mechanical strength indices are not high enough and, together with the poor sizing quality, the method described in the prototype is not effective. The purpose of the invention is to improve the degree of sizing while increasing the mechanical strength of the paper. This is achieved by the fact that aluminum compounds are pretreated with O, 25% polyethyleneimine solution, taken in an amount of 0.1-0.5% by weight of the aluminum compound, and after pH precipitation, the pH of the mass is adjusted to 9-9.5. The method of sizing paper in bulk by introducing rosin-based glue into the pulp and subsequent precipitating it on fibers using aluminum compounds is that the aluminum compounds are pretreated with O, 25% polyethyleneimine solution, taken in an amount of 0.10 , 5% by weight of the aluminum compound, and after the precipitation of the adhesive, the pH of the mass is adjusted to 9.0-9.5. Pulp is subjected to grinding in normal mode to the desired degree of grinding. An amount of rosin-based glue is introduced into the ground and compounded paper pulp in an amount determined by the requirements of the technological mode of production of this type of paper. After the transfer, aluminum compounds are introduced into the mass in the form of a solution in an amount of 2.5-6.0% by weight absolutely dry fibers counting on alumina. One minute before the solution of the aluminum compound was added to the mass, 0.10, 5% of a 0.25% solution of polyethyleneimine was added to it. Further, in the mass treated with aluminum compounds, using caustic additives. soda or hydrochloric acid is set to pH 9, O-9.5 .. After which the paper web is drained at the same pH of the mass according to the accepted scheme. Distinctive features of the method are the pretreatment of aluminum compounds with cationic polyelectrolyte polyethyleneimine to control the charge of aluminum hydroxide deposited in the mass and an increase in the pH of the mass after sedimentation of glue on cellulose fibers. The essence of the invention is not to improve the properties of the adhesive, but to improve the properties of the coagulant. Treatment of aluminum compounds with a solution of polyethylenimine before being introduced into the paper pulp allows polyethylene imine molecules, which carry a strong positive charge, at the time of formation of aluminum bispoxide in the mass directly deposited on its surface, increasing its charge, and zero) hydroxide point in the alkaline region (pH 9.5-9.7). In this way, the efficiency of the coagulant increases, leading to more complete sedimentation of glue particles, and as a result, the degree of sizing improves. At the same time, the alkaline medium allows the aluminum hydroxide to act as a binder between the fibers, as the structure and composition of the hydroxide change with a transition to the alkaline region. The abundant anions are removed from the hydroxide structure, and it becomes reactive with cellulose, since the anions do not block the sites of possible bonding between the hydroxide and cellulose. Therefore, in an alkaline medium, there is a significant increase in interfiber bonds and, as a consequence, an increase in mechanical strength. The amount of 0.25% polyethyleneimine solution from 0.1 to 0.5% by weight of the aluminum compound is necessary and sufficient, since less O, 1% of the effect does not, and more than 0.5% the effect of improving the degree of sizing and indicators of the strength of the paper does not increase, so there is no need to increase the consumption of ethylene grains.
Режим приготовлени массы и изготовлени образцов бумаги тот же, что и в примере 1, только вместо раствора сульфата алюмини Hcnohb3O- вац раствор алюмината натри с каустн-Separate introduction of aluminum and polyethylenimine into the mass does not give the desired effect, since in this case the polyethylene molecules will not primarily react with aluminum or aluminum hydroxide, but with other paper pulp components that are larger and which are 20 negatively charged. Therefore, aluminum compounds are treated with a solution of polyethyleneimine before being introduced into the pulp. Example 1. Bleached, bleached A-2 cellulose was ground in a laboratory roll to 30 ° SR, brown rosin glue was added to the ground pulp. In an amount of 3% by weight of absolutely dry fibers. After 10 minutes, a solution of aluminum sulphate in an amount of 5%, based on the mass of absolutely dry fibers, was added to the mass. About 1% of a solution of 0.25% polyethylene imine was added to a solution of aluminum sulphate 1 minute before putting it into the mass. After 3-5 minutes of stirring, a 1N solution of NaOH was added to the mass and the pH was 9.2. After that, the paper was bled, pressed and dried at a temperature of 10 ° -11 ° C on a LOA-2 sheet-making machine.
