As a result of the chemical interaction of the metal current lead with the electrolyte of the soil, an electrolytic dissolution of the metal occurs with the transition of its ions into the environment. The metal ions are released under the influence of forces due to the potential difference at the metal – electrolyte interface. The gradual destruction of the electrode material impairs its conductivity. Therefore, to maintain the initial value of the current lead resistance, it is necessary to provide for the excess weight of the latter, compensating for its losses due to electrolytic dissolution, which significantly increases the capital cost of the grounding device. The aim of the invention is to reduce the electrolytic dissolution rate of the current lead material, such as graphite, and increase its service life. This is achieved in the grounding conductor by the fact that the conductive backfill is made of two layers: the upper, for example, from graphite chips and the lower, for example, coke, with the lower section of the upper layer located above ground level. The borrowing electrode made according to the invention is shown in section in the drawing. The bottom layer 1 of the conductive backfill is made, for example, of coke breeze of anthracite coal. The top layer 2 of the conductive backfill is made of morning graphite chips, in which a graphitized current lead is loaded 3. The top layer and the upper part of the bottom layer of the conductive backfill are enclosed in a protective casing 4 with the cap 5. ground. The current lead 3 is provided with a terminal 6 of an insulated flexible cable. On the surface of the upper layer of the conductive backfill there is a press disk 7 with a central hole. It fixes the current input in the center of the electrode and its penetration into the graphite chips. At the same time, the press disc, settling down, compensates for the shrinkage of the crumb in the upper layer of the conductive backfill, improving the contact of the current lead with the graphite crumb. . Bringing the top of the grounding electrode to the ground reduces the groundwater inflow to the current lead and reduces ionic conductivity, and the use of graphite chips as a medium, which graphite current is placed, minimizes the galvanic potential difference between the latter and its surrounding medium, which allows you to reduce the weight loss of the current lead and increase the durability of the grounding electrode by 15-25 times compared with the known grounding device. Claims of Invention Grounding Electrode according to ed. St. No. 664253 characterized in that, in order to further reduce the electrolytic dissolution rate of the current lead material, for example graphite, and increase its service life, the conductive backfill is made of two layers: an upper layer, for example, graphite chips and a lower layer, for example, coke, the lower section of the upper layer is located above the ground level.
