Description

тел  и стенки изложницы, обращенной к слитку.bodies and walls of the mold, facing the ingot.

The ingest works as follows.

As the mold is filled with metal, its heat is transferred to the walls of the mold. Some of this heat is absorbed by the walls of the mold, and the other part is absorbed by the filler material. The filler material transfers heat up much faster, which heats the walls of the mold in the upper less heated layers. At the same time, the amount of heat transferred to the cavity walls, which are turned inside the mold, is much greater than the heat transmitted to the cavity walls, which are turned to the outer surface of the mold, due to the difference in their areas. As the mold is filled with metal, the temperature gradient between them gradually decreases. This makes it possible to reduce the heat transfer rate from the ingot to the mold and to keep the ingot metal in the molten state for a longer time. More favorable conditions are created for feeding the ingot body with metal from the profitable part.

Use of the proposed molds

позвол ет снизить расход металла на первом переделе примерно на 2%, улучшить качество проката и поковок, сократить расход изложниц на 3-5 кг на тонну стали. allows to reduce the consumption of metal in the first stage by about 2%, to improve the quality of rolled products and forgings, to reduce the consumption of molds by 3-5 kg per ton of steel.
