Изобретение относитс  к сварке давле нием и может быть использовано дл  кон трол  сварных соединений, преимуществен но тавровых .конструкций, полученных диф фузионной сваркой. Наиболее близким к изобретению по технической сущности и достигаемому результату  вл етс  способ контрол  свар ных соединений при сварке давлением, преимущественно тавровых конструкций, при котором на поверхности полки тавра в процессе сварки формируют выступы, по величине которых оценивают .качество сварки . Однако при формировании утолщени  материал стенки скользит по оснастке и возникающие при этом силы трени  оказывают вли ние на размеры и форму утол щений, что  вл етс  причиной снижени  точности оценки качества сварки. Дл  повышени  точности оценки качества сварки выступы формируют на поверхности полки, противоположной свариваемой , причем выступы формируют в виде сферических или цилиндрических сегментов , а ширина выступов не превышает удвоенного радиуса, кривизны их поверхности . На фиг. 1 дана схема осуществлени  способа; на фиг. 2 показано сварное соединение с выступами в виде сферических и цилиндрических сегментов. Ребро 1 и полку 2 тавровой конструкции (см. фиг, 1J собирают в обоймах 3 и устанавливают на плиту 4 сварочного устройства.
