Description
Flax oil consists of the following main components: with high film-forming ability (triglycerides of linolenic and linoleic acids), weakly drying and non-drying, that is, non-forming films (triglycerides of oleic and saturated acids).
К известным способам отделени высококачественной пленкообр азующей части из льн ного и подобных ему масел относ тс :Known methods for separating high-quality film-forming part from flax and similar oils include:
1)полимеризаци масла и последующее отделение высокодисперсных компонентов путем экстракции их растворител ми;1) polymerization of the oil and the subsequent separation of highly dispersed components by extracting them with solvents;
2)полимеризаци и последующа отгонка высокодисперсных компонентов в сверхглубоком вакууме (молекул рна дестилл ци ); 2) polymerization and subsequent distillation of highly dispersed components in ultra-deep vacuum (molecular distillation);
3)расщепление масла с последующим отделением высоконенасыщенных кислот путем фракционной разгонки жирных кислот и этерификации высоконенасыщенных кислот;3) splitting the oil with the subsequent separation of highly unsaturated acids by fractional distillation of fatty acids and the esterification of highly unsaturated acids;
4) polymerization of the oil with the subsequent distillation of the unpolymerized part from the polymerized and esterified last.
The methods given are expensive and require high technical equipment.
Предлагаемый способ получени из льн ного и ему подобных масел заменител тунгового масла отличаетс простотой и не требует специального сложного оборздовани .The proposed method for the production of tung oil substitute from flax and similar oils is simple and does not require special complex equipment.
84-94.Flax or similar oil (perillose, lalmancium, etc.) is subjected to polymerization to obtain a product with an iodine number of 84-94.
Полимеризованное масло омыл ют раствором щелочи, вз тым в количестве , не превосход щем 30% потребного дл полного омылени .The polymerized oil is washed with an alkali solution taken in an amount not exceeding 30% of that required for complete saponification.
The partially saponified product is salted and acidified to decompose the soap. Free acid is distilled off from the resulting product under vacuum using superheated steam. The residue is a product suitable for the replacement of tung oil. This product with lead-manganese siccative (depending on the amount of the latter) dries at 20 ° C for 8-12 hours. Dried films in their hardness and water resistance are significantly superior to films of natural linseed linseed oil.
