Description

1, The invention relates to mechanical sources of seismic oscillation and can be used to excite transverse harmonic elastic oscillations. PEI studies the structure of the earth's crust by seismic methods. A device is known for initiating transverse seismic waves using a reciprocating plate rigidly attached to the ground. With such excitation of transverse waves in the medium, Sy and SH waves are formed, which significantly complicates the wave pattern and requires a special technique of observation and processing wave fields. It is also known a device 2 for the excitation of transverse waves of the type SH, using jet engines with a reverse, mounted in a horizontal plane symmetrically one with respect to the other and the center of the slab, which is rigidly connected to the ground. The frequency range of the oscillations excited by this device is limited, since the reception of high frequency oscillations is prevented by the inertia of the system and the difficulty of controlling the reactive draft. Devices on reactive are difficult and unsafe to handle. Their field observations are limited due to the cumbersome nature of the device / it cannot be used to emit from a well. The closest in technical essence to the proposed is a source of seismic signals in the ground, consisting of a body, an inert mass in the form of a rotating flywheel and a drive Z. However, shear waves of types SV and SH are simultaneously excited by source 3. and one, given type of transverse waves cannot be excited. By virtue of the design features, source 3 allows only single pulsed signals to be excited. The aim of the invention is to capture the signal / interference ratio when exciting transverse harmonic oscillations of the type SH. The goal is achieved by the fact that in the proposed oscillation source the flywheel is made to rotate freely on the vertical axis and not
