гThe invention relates to textile industry and can be used on tape machines to impart useful properties to the wool fiber to be processed: reduced samychayemost, pilling, shrinking products during wet processing, increased durability and wear of products, resistance to abrasion, acceleration of fiber dyeing. It is known to have a unit for modifying a moving wool fiber with electric discharges, which contains electrodes installed one above the other and connected to a high-voltage AC source, the lower of which is made of semiconducting material. The purpose of the invention is to intensify the process of modifying wool fibers. The goal is achieved by the fact that the lower electrode has a series of parallel grooves of cylindrical shape, and the upper electrode contrasts vertically located rods with pointed lower ends, each rod being located along the axis of the corresponding groove. Fig. 1 schematically shows a device for modifying moving wool fibers by electrical discharges; in fig. 2 - cut. A-A of FIG. one . A device for modifying a moving wool fiber by electrical discharges contains a high-voltage source 1 of alternating current connected to the source electrodes. The upper electrode 2 is made up of vertically arranged rods with pointed lower ends, sharpened at an angle of 100-130, and the lower electrode 3 is made of ferrite with a resistance of 20-25 mΩ, has a series of parallel grooves 4 and is grounded. The depth of the grooves is 30 mm, the thickness of the processed strips 5 of wool fiber is 40 mm, and the diameter inscribed in the groove 4 is 100 mm, i.e. The ratio of the depth of the groove 4 to the radius of the inscribed circle is 0.012-0.015 thickness of the modified fiber. The device has a dielectric case 6 and resistors 7 of type KEV-533 mΩ. At the pointed ends of the electrode 2, an alternating flare discharge occurs. With the flare discharge, the current at each half-period passes through the interelectrode distance from the pointed ends to the grounded electrode 3. Since the corona-shaped pointed ends of the rods are parallel in a row along the axis of the grooves 4 in the centers the inscribed circles, the distance from the pointed ends of the electrodes 2 to all points of the surfaces of the grooves 4 is approximately the same. As a result, the discharge current from the pointed ends, relatively evenly distributed over the entire surface of the grounded grooves 4, treats the wool fiber uniformly and completely. Location kor-. The sharpened pointed ends of the electrodes 2 along the grooves 4 allow one to create discharges only in the passage zone of the fiber being processed, i.e. the entire discharge current is operational. The fiber is transported by a kinematic spinning machine. The device works as follows. At the pointed lower ends of the electrodes 2, through the resistors 7, an alternating current of 50-52 kV is applied. An alternating flare discharge occurs between the pointed ends and the grooves 4. The current strength of each end of the electrode is 2,100-150 μA, the electric field intensity is about 10 kV / cm. In the case of flare discharge, intensive ionization of air occurs, and local elevated potential gradients in the form of pulses appear in ionized air. As a result of such pulses, the air ions reach energy levels sufficient to modify the surface of the wool fiber. In addition, a large number of decomposition products of air molecules, which are chemically active and also contribute to the fiber modification process, occur in the flare discharge zone. Thus, the proposed device contributes to the intensification of the process of modifying wool woof. g
