Description
(54) GAS REAGENT FOR GLASS PROCESSING
1 4060The invention relates to the field of surface treatment of glass for the purpose of its hardening. Gaseous reagents for the chemical treatment of glass, Ha example, SOg, it, freon, etc. Ij. The closest to the invention to the technical essence is the following glass-forming reagent, including, wt.%: BO3 - 48 SOg - 52, at a moisture content of 3 - 13% 2. The indicated gaseous reagent has an increased reactivity compared to SO which is expressed in a greater amount of gas-glass reaction products formed on the glass surface under the same conditions (temperature, duration) of chemical treatment. . Its disadvantage is the impossibility of: using wet during long-term processing, because after 1-1.5 hours, oleum forms in the pipeline, which clogs the pipeline. In addition, the glass treated with the specified gaseous reagent, has an insufficiently high chemical resistance. The purpose of the invention is to increase the chemical resistance of glass. This is achieved by the fact that the gaseous reagent contains the ingredients in the following amount, wt.%; "Og 10-40 ZOz 90-60. For the supply of gaseous reagent, SOg, supplied in cylinders, oxygen or air, which is previously dewatered by concentrated spraying, is taken as a source, mixed in a ratio of 1: 1 when using oxygen and 1 : 6 in case of using air. The resulting mixture is passed through a catalyst bed - wanshee mass, heated to 500-800 ° C. The resulting gaseous reagent is treated with melted glass.
