Устройство работает следующим образом Когда локомотив находитс  вне зоны радиоуправлени , источник 8 питани  отключек от блока 7 блоком 9 коммутации. Все блоки устройства обесточены. Въезд в контролируемую маневровую зону радиоуправлени  регистрируетс  взаимодействием катушки 11 с датчиками 12 и 13, в качестве которых могут примен тьс  расположенные последовательно по ходу движени  два путевых индуктора независимого действи . Сигналы, поступающие от датчиков 12 и 13, фиксируютс  и преобразукэтс  блоком 10 определени  направлени  движени . При въезде локомотива в зону радиоуправленн  с выхода блока 10 на вход блока 9 выдаетс  сигнал на включение питани , а при выезде - на отключение.
