Description

(54) METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE SPEED OF THE TRANSITIONAL MOTION OF THE INTERNAL BORDER OF THE SECTION IN A SOLID

An X-ray beam diffracted by one of the crystals is recorded by a counter mounted to beam 4 at a double Bragg angle for the selected reflection. Figure 2 shows the change in intensity recorded by the counter during the progressive movement of the sample or the border 3 in it in the direction of the arrow 5 with a constant speed. Choosing the position of the border 3 relative to the falling beam 4 and measuring the intensity of the diffracted beam 6, determine the speed of movement of the border by moving specimen so as to continuously record the intensity at the original level. Thanks to the considered method, the range of the studied speeds of movement of the interface can be extended by 2-3 times. The continuous nature of the velocity measurement allows obtaining detailed information on the kinetics of the process, and the measurement accuracy achieved in this case is many times higher than the accuracy of all known methods. Formula of the invention A method for determining the translational velocity of the internal interface in a solid, consisting in irradiating an object with a beam. x-rays and record the diffracted radiation in several positions of the object relative to the x-ray beam, which is characterized by the fact that, in order to increase measurement accuracy and reliability of information on changes in the measured value, as well as expanding the range of the studied velocities, the object is moved relative to the x-ray beam at a speed that ensures the constant intensity of the continuously recorded diffracted x-ray beam, and the speed of movement of the boundary is determined by the speed of the object.
