Description

The proposed method relates to the field of producing oxide compounds of chromium in the manufacture of chromic acid catalysts and for other purposes.

The proposed method for producing chromium oxide compounds is that monochromatic solutions (solutions of alkaline, alkaline earth and other suitable monochromates) are treated with sulfuric acid, resulting from the reduction reaction, and the precipitated double compounds of hexa- and trivalent chromium are separated and washed away from the remaining solution of alkaline (or corresponding) salts in the usual way.

The essence of the proposed method lies in the fact that the interaction of monochromat with sulfuric acid reactions can be schematically depicted as follows:

3Me2CrO4-f3SO2 Cr2O3 + CrO3+Me2Sd4 2Me2CrO4 + 3SO2 + Cr2SOi(OH)H-2Me2SO.i3Me2CrO4-f3SO2 Cr2O3 + CrO3 + Me2Sd4 2Me2CrO4 + 3SO2 + Cr2SOi (OH) H-2Me2SO.i

е. как (Сг2Оз)х (СгОз)у .It is practically possible to consider the products of the reactions, the casts of the compounds Cr2Oz and CgOz in various, depending on the reaction conditions, ratios, i.e., as (Cr2O3) x (CgO3) y.

The reaction speed and completeness are such that up to the complete reduction of all hexavalent chromium, it is impossible to open the presence of sulfurous acid in the exhaust gases.

д.Such a method makes it possible to obtain chromium compounds, which have the general name chromium chromates, which have not yet been studied completely. All hitherto known methods for their preparation are based on the use of dichromates and inaccessible, expensive for industrial scale reagents, such as thiosulfate, ammonium chromates, chromium nitrate, etc.

(The resulting compounds can be used, for example, as catalysts in some industries, but mostly as

.The method of obtaining oKi-f.: Iibix is a compound of chromium, characterized in that 1 stanza 10 ordinary npnc Nia MiH is subjected to double compounds tppa (CrHyy),, (CgO3) ,,. .
