Description
A number of graphite and molybdenum disulfide lubricants are known, which are widely used in industry. However, these lubricants do not provide the required quality of the surface to be treated. Known lubricant for hot metal processing, which consists of 30- 60% graphite, 1-3% borax and sodium sulfate - the rest is 1 | 2 |. The disadvantage of this. Az1 is that it Hie MidixeT be applied at a temperaturk yefdrmatz and below 900Ci since teMyeraTura. melting of the predominant salt component (sodium sulfate). In addition, sodium sulphate is a salt of a strong acid and with prolonged use can cause significant corrosion of equipment, which will affect the quality of the surface being treated. The purpose of the present invention is to develop a lubricant that provides the possibility of using it in a wider temperature range (600-1200 ° C), while providing the required quality of the treated surface, which would be non-toxic and meet the requirements of safety regulations with her. The proposed graphite-based lubricant additionally contains 24-47 wt.% Salt eutectic, comprising 44 wt.% Sodium chloride, 53 wt.% Sodium carbonate and 3 wt.% Potassium carbonate. Eutectic is obtained by thoroughly mixing all salts and melting them. The melt is granulated by the dry method, then milled in a ball mill to a grain size of 0.2 mm. The composition of the salt eutectic has a so pl. 600 ° C. It is stable at 600-1200s, i.e. does not decompose and does not release gaseous substances, does not contribute to equipment corrosion. It is easily dissolved in water. A lubricant is prepared by mixing graphite and powder of the powder at a specified ratio. The proposed lubricant was tested under production conditions when using a 25x2.5 38x2 5 pipe tub; 62x2; 66x6 of steel 10 and y 45 on a horizontal hydraulic press of 1600 tons. A mixture of graphite with eutectic sat. Paiyt on the inclined table, on which warmed billets to the press. The eutectic mixture, when in contact with the heated billet, is paid, enveloping the particles of the graph due to which graphite is well retained on the heated billet. The following lubricant prescriptions were tested, wt.%: Graphite 50 Bura2 Sodium Sulphate 48 Suggested: Graphite Eutectic 3 Graphite. Eutectic №4 Graphite Eutectic The comparative data of the proposed and known lubricants are tested in table.
Comparative characteristic of technological lubricants, / Since the melting point of the eutectic is 600 ° C, the proposed lubricant can be applied in a wide temperature range. When the eutectic melted, there was no observation of gases and smoke, the eutectic itself is non-toxic, which ensured the normal operation of the service personnel. The proposed lubricant has been tested in a wide range of temperatures. As can be seen, in all cases it provided normal pressing and high-quality surface of the pipes. In the temperature range of 600–700 s, the known lubricant did not melt and did not stick to the surface of the workpiece, therefore, the pressing of the workpieces was not possible. With a known lubricant, the pressing process was satisfactory, however, to push the press residue out of the container sleeve after pressing, high forces were required, since the lubricant had time to crystallize. The proposed lubricant, due to the fact that it is in the powder state, is easily applied to the hot billet. In addition, it is non-toxic and smokeless, as a result of which it meets the requirements of safety regulations. The proposed lubricant can be used for pressing pipes made of carbon steel (Art. 10.45) in the temperature range 600-1200s. Table
