Description

For electrolytic deposition of copper on iron and other metals that are more electronegative than copper, electrolytes containing tartaric acid can be used. So, by way of roseler. a bath of tartaric acid, sodium carbonate, copper sulfate and caustic soda is used. The methods of Weil, Pavlovsky, and others are not much different from the above, and the baths according to them also contain both tartaric acid and copper sulfate.

When performing these methods, the presence in the bath of anion of sulfuric acid causes the peeling of the copper coating during its acid build-up. To eliminate this phenomenon, it is proposed in the present invention to introduce copper into the bath as an oxide, hydroxide, carbonate, or salt of an organic acid.

Example. To prepare the bath, they take the copper oxide hydrate freshly precipitated and washed out from the anion of sulfuric acid and form a solution with a content of 34-250 g / l of ferrite salt, 120 g of copper oxide hydrate and not more than 200 g / l of sodium hydroxide.

н.Tartaric acid can be taken instead of segnetova salt and alkali can be introduced in the form of caustic potash, ammonia, soda, various amines (mono-diathanolomine), and so on.

When using the proposed method on iron products, a copper sublayer is obtained, adhering very strongly to the surface and allowing the use of means (; current densities of current (up to 4-5 A / dm)) when building up an acid bath layer.

No. 60230- 2 Subject of the invention

The method of electrolytic deposition of copper on iron and other metals more electronegative than copper from tartaric acid electrolytes, characterized in that oxide, hydroxide or carbonate of copper, or copper sod of organic acid is introduced into the bath as a copper compound.
