(54) METHOD FOR CLEANING AGAR SOLUTIONS FROM IMPURITIES The coagulated precipitate is separated by filtration, the filtrate is neutralized with 2.0 ml of 0.5 N sodium hydroxide solution, raising the pH to 6.5. The ash content in the final agar product is 2.75%, the total nitrogen content is 0.03%. Agar forms a colorless transparent gel. The proposed method for the purification of agar solutions, as compared with the known method, makes it possible to improve the quality of the obtained product with the formation of a transparent and colorless stud with a low content of ash substances and total nitrogen. The cleaning process of the proposed method is accelerated. Claims 1. Method for cleaning agar solutions from impurities by melting and filtration. characterized in that, in order to improve the quality and speed up the purification process, after melting the solution, hydrochloric acid is added to it to lower the pH of the medium, followed by aging in an acidic medium, and after filtration the agar solution is neutralized with sodium hydroxide solution, while melting the solution they are heated by boiling. 2. 2. A method according to claim 1, characterized in that the agar solution is boiled for 5 to 10 minutes. 3.
