1chweiner is placed in a preheated to 1000 ° C oven. The process of diffusion saturation takes place within 3 hours. Radiographic and spectral studies show a uniform (13–14%) distribution of silicon over the entire surface of the part. Metallographic investigations performed a uniform siliconized layer (420/360 µm) with uniform porosity (34-37%) over the entire surface of the part.

The machining of parts according to the proposed method improves the uniformity of the coating during the thermal processing of the parts without significant costs. This makes it possible to use the vapor – gas saturation advantage (high purity of the treated surface, invariance of part sizes) for processing large-sized parts in containers with large active mixture gradients. The effect is the savings in increasing the resources of diffusion machining of parts and the possible savings in replacing expensive alloys in the manufacture of these parts minus the cost of generating ultrasonic vibrations.
