Description

Example. To obtain ligatures, six mixtures are prepared with different quantitative contents of calcium and titanium. Each mixture is fused separately in open induction furnaces with air protection with argon or fluoride flux.

The chemical composition of the ligatures and the properties of the steel treated by them are given in the table.

A wear resistance test was carried out by moving two ring specimens over a length of 10 mm at a specific pressure of 300 kgf / cm. Corrosion resistance is determined in boiling 55% nitric acid for 24 hours. No trace of intergranular corrosion has been detected by testing.

The use of the proposed ligature makes it possible to increase the service life and reliability of the equipment, for example, wedge gate valves in various chemical production environments.
