After that, the water is treated with air at a temperature of 87-92 ° C or combustible gas. The mixed vapor-gas mixture is then mixed with combustible gas or air and burned at 85 ° C. Condensate of the following composition is obtained: Dry residue Ammonia General traces of phenols are not present. . no pyridine; base traces Hydrogen cyanide is absent Blue carbon dioxide is absent The residue after evaporation of the source water contains (NH4) iSO4 41.6%. Claims The method of treating wastewater containing volatile impurities by evaporation in the presence of a gaseous agent and thermal treatment of the vapor-gas mixture with oxygen-containing gas and the subsequent condensation of water vapor, characterized in that in order to avoid harmful emissions of atmospheric emissions during the purification of sulfur-containing wastewater, simplifying technology and reducing energy costs, wastewater is pre-acidified to a pH of 5.26, 2 and simultaneously flushed with coke-oven gas.
