Предлагаемое устройство предназначаетс  дл  регулировани  питани  паровых котлов в зависимости от уровн  воды в барабане котла.The proposed device is intended to regulate the power supply of steam boilers depending on the water level in the boiler drum.

Действие этого устройства основано на следующем. Температура воды, пропускаемой с посто нной скоростью через контрольную горизонтальную трубку, располагаемую в барабане котла на высоте среднего уровн  воды в нем, должна зависеть от условий теплопередачи к стенке трубки от окружающей ее среды - воды или пара. Коэфициент теплопередачи от воды к поверхности трубки, как известно, меньше, чем коэфициент теплопередачи от насыщенного пара к той же поверхности трубки. В св зи с этим температура воды, пропускаемой с посто нной скоростью через контрольную трубку , должна быть выше в том случае, когда трубка окружена насыщенным паром, т. е. когда уровень воды в барабане ниже нормального, чем тогда, когда контрольна  трубка заполнена водой-уровень воды выше нормального.The operation of this device is based on the following. На схематическом чертеже предлагаемое устройство изображено в разрезе по оси контрольной трубки. Контрольна  трубка А расположена в барабане В парового котла. Контрольна  трубка соединена в наружным питающим резервуаром С и со сливным бачком D. Последний имеет сливное отверстие.
