(54) CENTRIFUGAL SEPARATOR
7.This invention relates to a technique for cleaning dusty gas streams. Known centrifugal separator, comprising a housing with an inlet pipe, the inner surface of the output end of which is discharged with a groove, forming a multiple screw channel. In this separator, a secondary entrainment of separated dust particles from the multiple-threaded screw channel is observed, and, in addition, if particles of dust-generating substances with adhesion to the walls of the inlet nozzle, such as synthetic detergents (CMC), are pressed, the screw channel is blocked. All this reduces the efficiency of dust collection. The purpose of the invention is to increase the efficiency of gas cleaning. In the proposed centrifugal separator in the upper part of the multiple-threaded screw channel is located a nozzle for supplying irrigated liquid. FIG. 1 shows a centrifugal separator with a partial cut; in fig. 2 is a section along the line A-A in FIG. 1. The separator includes a housing 1, an inlet 2 with a swirler 3. The output end 4 of the inlet 2 may have a cylindrical or diffuser shape, and its inner surface is made with a bore that forms a multiple-thread screw channel 5. At the top of each channel there is a nozzle 6 dh irrigated water. The housing 1 is equipped with an outlet nozzle 7 for removal of the purified fraction, which is installed coaxially with the inlet nozzle 2 and the outlet nozzle 8 for removal of the pierced particles. Centrifugal separator operates as follows. The dust-laden gas supplied to the inlet section, side 2, passes through the swirler 3, spirals through the swirler; as a result of this movement, dust particles are thrown to the walls of the inlet pipe 2, enter the multiple-use screw channel 5, are moistened with irrigated liquid supplied by the nozzle 6, and the output of the centrifugal separator from the bottom of the centrifugal separator. The purified gas is discharged through the outlet 7.
The proposed design reduces the mass of the captured particles of the wall vortexes and, accordingly, reduces their secondary entrainment, and also reduces blockage of the multiple channel during the trapping of particles with increased adhesion to the walls of the inlet nozzle.
