Description

С целью облегчени  оказани  первой помощи при переломах челюстей до изготовлени  более сложных индивидуальных шин, внутриротова  часть предлагаемой шины , выполненной в форме верхнечелюстной оттисковой ложки снабжена р дом С-образных отверстий дл  помещени  эластичных колечек, служаш;их дл  подт гивани  нижней челюсти при комбинированных переломах .The literature describes and has already applied tires in the treatment of fractures of the upper jaw, made in emergency cases from impression spoons, to which the extraoral rods were soldered or screwed. In order to facilitate first aid in fractures of the jaws to the manufacture of more complex individual tires, the intraoral part of the proposed tire, made in the form of a maxillary impression spoon, is provided with a number of C-shaped openings for accommodating elastic ringlets; .

The extraoral arcuate rods have loops for conducting elastic strands for fixing the tire to the headband. In FIG. 1 and 2 depict a general view of the tire in two projections. The proposed tire consists of a calyx 1 with a chol for the alveolar process of the maxilla, made like a maxillary impression spoon for the maxilla. Two nonwoven rods 2 are attached to the cup to hang the tire on the headband. There are a number of C-shaped holes in the cup, adapted to fix elastic (rubber) rings in them, with which the lower jaw can be connected to the splint during combined fractures. Holes 4 are located on the outer and inner side of the cup. On the rods 2 there are loops 5, which serve to fasten the elastic bands r to the headband. A standard headband can be attached to the tire. The cup is made of such a size that it can be applied to almost all jaws. For children it is necessary to have the same tire of reduced size. Individual tires easily stack in any quantity.

The use of the tire is as follows. The sterilized tire is filled with wax, a stent, or iodoform gauze. After the upper jaw fragments are manually set, a splint is inserted into the upper jaw and is fixed with elastic bands or gauze to the head band. If a
