The tangent 7 and 8 to the profile of the groove 5 in the foot-mile section at the intersection points 9 and 10 with the surface 4 in front of it form acute corners V and ft with it. The width of the groove is selected from the following relationship: Cos (v + e; where 1l is the width of the groove on the front surface of the tool in the normal section; -t - roughing allowance; -t, - finishing allowance; C - secondary angle in plan; - angle of inclination of the groove to the auxiliary cutting edge; K - coefficient of overlap of the allowance Such an embodiment of the cutter allows to obtain a large positive inclination angle of the cutting edge on the section of the cutting edge of the cutter, which removes the allowance for the rough cutting edge On the section of the cutting edge, which removes the allowance for finishing, the large negative angle of inclination of the cutting edge ensures a high surface finish of the machined surface. At the same time, the cutter durability is improved. The cutter geometry can be performed in non-transferrable tool plates with mechanical The use of the described cutters in a number of cases allows to reduce the technological allowance. The invention of the cutter for simultaneous roughing and finishing with a radius rounding at the apex and the passage of the neck through this apex by a groove having a profile in the normal section in the form of a concave curve, the tangents to which at the points of intersection with the front surface form cored corners, distinguished by that, in order to increase the machining purity, the groove is located at an acute angle to the secondary cutting edge and intersects with it at a point away from the tip of the tool by an amount of the order (0, О50, 25) of the radius at the tip.
