А 61 В 3/06, 1966г.The MILLINGS of the automatic control device 4 and the generator 3 are electrically connected with the converter 6, the circuit 1 and the frequency controlled generator of 5 square-wave pulses connected to the frequency meter 8. The device works as follows. In the electronic unit, the automatic control device 4 sets the initial operating conditions, generates an analog control signal (which is supplied to generator 3 to obtain the lowest frequency of the control range) and a random strobe pulse signal with an initially specified probability of occurrence. The generator 5 generates a signal with a duty cycle and amplitude identical to the parameters of the signal of the generator 3. The frequency of the signal of the generator 5 is larger than the critical frequency of the flashes. The signals of the oscillators 3, 5 and the signal of the automatic device 4 are fed to a probability coincidence circuit 1, making it possible to select one of the signals. The selected signal from circuit 1 is fed to a transducer 6, which generates a light signal with a frequency and a duty cycle equal to the frequency and a duty cycle of an electrical signal. The subject through the switch 7 generates response signals. The selector 2 selects the correct and incorrect answers of the subject by comparing the signals supplied from the circuit and the switch 7. The output signal of the selector 2 is fed to the automatic device 4, which evaluates the ratio of correct and incorrect answers and, depending on this, the generator frequency control signal 3 and random strobe signal. The frequency of the generator 3, when measured, automatically approaches the critical value for a given subject, and its value at the end of the measurement is determined by a frequency meter 8.
