Description
(54) ELECTROLYTE FOR CHEMICAL CURRENT SOURCE WITH LITHIUM ANODE
The invention relates to electrical engineering and can be applied in the manufacture of chemical sources of current with a lithium anode.
The compositions of solid electrolytes for lithium anode chemical sources of current based on lithium iodide are known. The main disadvantage of such electrolytes is low ion conductivity, leading to high internal resistance of the current source. To reduce the internal resistance, thin electrolyte films are used, obtained by sputtering or contacting the anode with a cathode halogen. However, in such cells, there is a noticeable diffusion of the active components through the electrolyte, resulting in a rapid self-discharge of the current source.
The closest to the proposed technical essence is an electrolyte containing lithium iodide, caustic lithium and inorganic additive.
However, the internal resistance of the current source with a lithium anode and such an electrolyte is still large.

Следы влаги уничто1C жают добавлением в электролит металлического лити .For the preparation of solid electrolyte, crystal hydrates of Li, LiOH, Ui N0 J 5 are taken as starting materials. The mixtures of crystalline hydrates are melted at 150-300 ° C under vacuum and kept at this temperature for 4-6 hours for dehydration. Traces of moisture are destroyed by adding lithium metal to the electrolyte.
